Umps Hand Braves Victory After Egregious Call At the Plate

The Braves and the Pittsburgh Pirates played a marathon affair on Tuesday night/Wednesday morning that lasted 19 innings and ended just before 2:00 am in Atlanta.

In one of the worse pieces of umpiring ever seen, homeplate ump Jerry Meals called Julio Lugo safe at the plate when he looked out by about two whole seconds.

Buccos Manager Clint Hurdle and Twitter were equally unhappy.
