Things are painful around the whole Phillies organization.
Not only did the Phils get embarrassed by the Nationals down in DC last night but Darin Ruf added some injury to all of the insult. Ruf was trying to make a play down the line for the IronPigs at Triple-A and really slid into the wall with a thud. You can watch the play above. It looks pretty brutal.

Jim Salibsury reported that Ruf sustained a sprained left wrist and a cut on his knee that required stitches. A DL stint is likely.
