The Phillies won a very tough and interesting contest on Friday night in St. Louis to take their second straight from the Cardinals and third straight overall.
One of the plays of the evening involved a collision with Carlos Ruiz and Yadier Molina at the plate (pictured). Chooch held on to the ball despite the attempt by the Cardinals' catcher to dislodge it. The play helped save the game. Chooch is just awesome like that.
Here's our challenge for you this evening: attempt to read this last quote without using your best Carlos Ruiz accent. It's impossible.

“I was prepared to take him out,” Manuel said [of Lee]. “He
said, ‘I want to stay in. I can get this guy,’ and Ruiz said, ‘He’s
still got it, Charlie.’”
He's still got it, Charlie.
But he ain't got no win just yet. Lee likely wasn't *that* upset on Friday as the team got the W.
