The Sixers looked to close out their home slate with a win in front of the Wells Fargo Center faithful, and pushed the Bucks to overtime in their pursuit. The outcome came down to the final seconds when the Bucks edge the Sixers to escape with a 109-108 victory.

The Sixers finished the season 7-34 at home and fell to 10-70 on the year with two games to play.

Turning point
Ish Smith and Hollis Thompson made back-to-back threes to cut the Bucks lead to 109-108 with 42.9 seconds left in overtime. The Sixers regained the ball after Antetokounmpo missed a jumper, but went on to miss three opportunities to score in their final possession as the Bucks held on.

Inside the box score
Khris Middleton led all players with 36 points (14 for 24 from the field), nine assists, six rebounds and four steals. John Henson had an 18-point, 10-rebound double-double off the Bucks' bench.

Ish Smith led the Sixers with 22 points (9 for 17 from the floor), nine rebounds and eight assists. Nerlens Noel had a double-double with 18 points and 13 rebounds.

Injuries
Carl Landry (sore back) missed his second straight game. Richaun Holmes sat out his seventh consecutive game with a right Achilles strain. Jerryd Bayless did not play for the Bucks because of a hyperextended right knee.

In-game honors
Allen Iverson was at the Wells Fargo Center for the second game in a row. On Sunday, he was presented with an honorary resolution from the city of Philadelphia by councilman David Oh.

In between the third and fourth quarters, members of the Villanova Wildcats took center court for recognition of their NCAA championship.

NBA veteran referee Joey Crawford received a presentation to commemorate his 39-year career. Crawford is a Philadelphia native.

Up next
The Sixers will play their final two games on the road. On Tuesday they face the Raptors in Toronto and Wednesday play the Bulls in Chicago.
