The Sixers were sensational down the stretch on Monday during their comeback win over the Cleveland Cavaliers.

Two days later, they were anything but.

The Sixers shot a horrid 30.1 percent from the field in a 97-77 loss to the Milwaukee Bucks on Wednesday at the Wells Fargo Center.

Turning point
The Sixers scored 11 first-quarter points and shot just 20.8 percent from the floor during the frame. They were 0 for 8 from behind the arc to fall behind 27-11 after one quarter.

The Sixers trailed by 14 points at halftime and their deficit grew to as many as 31 points in the loss.

Follow the leader
Khris Middleton and Brandon Knight each scored 18 points for the Bucks. Knight also had five assists, while Middleton recorded five steals.

O.J. Mayo (15 points) and Jerryd Bayless (12 points) each reached double figures off the bench.

Zaza Pachulia flirted with a triple-double with 11 points, 12 rebounds and seven assists.

K.J. McDaniels contributed 14 points and six rebounds. JaKarr Sampson came off the bench to score 11 points, grab seven rebounds and hand out five assists.

Stat-egic
The Sixers shot 25 of 83 from the field in the game. They were even worse from three-point range where they shot a dismal 2 of 25 (8.0 percent).

On the flip side, Milwaukee shot 53.9 percent from the floor and 47.1 percent from long distance.

Take a bow
Nerlens Noel had a double-double the first time the Sixers faced the Bucks with 14 points and 10 rebounds. He appeared on track for another with a strong start before finishing with 13 points and five rebounds. Noel also added two blocks and two steals.

What's next?
The Sixers play at Brooklyn on Friday night. It is the third of four meetings between the two teams this season. The Nets won the first two.

The Nets have lost three straight and their record now stands at 16-19.

Joe Johnson leads Brooklyn in scoring with 16.6 points per game. Deron Williams averages 14.4 points and 6.5 assists a night.
