BOX SCORE

The Sixers did not look anything like the team that built an 18-point lead on Saturday.

They looked lethargic. They shot poorly. They were careless with the ball.

All of that added up to a 105-87 loss to the Boston Celtics at the Wells Fargo Center on Monday night.

The loss dropped the Sixers’ overall record this season to 2-22 and 0-13 at home.

Turning point
After jumping out to an 11-2 lead, the Sixers were outscored 28-14 to finish the first quarter.

Boston took its momentum into the second quarter. The Celtics shot 55.0 percent from the floor for 27 points in the frame, while the Sixers scored just 13 points and trailed by 19 at the half.

Follow the leader
Kelly Olynyk led the Celtics with a career-high 30 points and nine rebounds off the bench. He was 12 for 17 from the floor.

He set his previous career-high against the Sixers last April when he scored 28 points.

Evan Turner got booed, but he must have tuned out the noise because he had 12 points, five rebounds, six assists and three steals.

Nerlens Noel had a career-high 19 points on 9 of 12 shooting. He also had eight rebounds, four assists, three steals and two blocks.

Michael Carter-Williams had 13 points, six assists and five rebounds. He also had five more turnovers.

Stat-egic
The Sixers had a season-high 15 first-half turnovers, leading to 23 points for the Celtics.

The Sixers' turnovers also prevented them from running. They were outscored 18-0 on the fastbreak.

Take a bow
Alexey Shved had 10 points and four assists in a 12-minute run. It is the fifth time in his last six games he has scored in double figures.

Welcome to the association
Furkan Aldemir made his NBA debut after joining the Sixers from Turkey. He had two points and two rebounds in 10 minutes.

What's next?
The Sixers get a break before hosting the Charlotte Hornets on Friday night.

The Hornets were a playoff team last season, but they are off to a disappointing 6-17 start in 2014-15.

Al Jefferson leads them in scoring with 19.0 points a night.

Lance Stephenson is averaging 10.4 points, 7.2 rebounds and 5.0 assists a game in his first season with the franchise. However, his shooting percentages have dropped off dramatically from last season. He shot 49.1 percent from the field and 35.2 percent from three-point range last season with the Indiana Pacers. This season, those numbers are 38.9 and 16.7, respectively.
