The Sixers watched Tobias Harris hit a jump shot at the buzzer to suffer a 91-89 loss to the Orlando Magic at the Wells Fargo Center on Wednesday night.

The loss dropped the Sixers to 0-5, while the Magic earned their first win of the season.

Nerlens Noel left the game in the third quarter with a sprained left ankle. He played 16 minutes, finishing with four points, two rebounds, three assists, one block and three turnovers.

Turning point
Henry Sims made a long jumper with 4.6 seconds remaining to tie the game at 89-89 and get the crowd energized at the thought of overtime.

Harris changed that when he curled off a screen to make a 20-foot jumper as the final horn sounded for the victory. Harris led Orlando with 18 points in the game.

Follow the leader
Tony Wroten led the Sixers in scoring for the fourth time this season with 27 points. He was 9 for 15 from the floor, including 4 of 6 from three-point range. Wroten, who came into the game a 58.3 percent free-throw shooter on the season, was 5 of 7 from the stripe.

Wroten also had eight assists, five steals and nine turnovers. It was the third game this season in which Wroten has had at least eight turnovers.

Brandon Davies added 20 points on 9 for 11 shooting.

Former Sixer Nikola Vucevic scored 17 points. For the first time this season, the NBA's leading rebounder did not have double-figure boards. Vucevic grabbed five rebounds.

Channing Frye had a double-double for the Magic with 13 points and 11 rebounds.

Ben Gordon came off Orlando's bench to score 15 points.

Stat–egic
The Sixers had 38 points in the paint and 18 fastbreak points, but they also had 20 turnovers to even out the game.

Take a bow
K.J. McDaniels is quickly becoming a crowd favorite. He caught a thunderous one-handed alley-oop over former Sixer draft pick Maurice Harkless while getting fouled in the second quarter that brought fans to their feet.

McDaniels also had a double-clutch dunk and another alley-oop from Alexey Shved produced plenty of cheers from the home fans.

McDaniels finished with 12 points and three blocks.
