BOX SCORE

The Sixers played their first game since Feb. 9 on Friday against Indiana at the Wells Fargo Center. The new-look Sixers fell to the Pacers, 106-95.

With no Michael Carter-Williams and no K.J. McDaniels, the Sixers relied on Tim Frazier to run the point guard position, and a handful of players to contribute off the bench.

Frazier finished with 13 points and seven assists.

Jerami Grant led the reserves with 16 points.

The Sixers fell to 12-42 with the loss. They will play their next three games on the road.

Turning point
The Sixers gave up 35 points in the second quarter and trailed by 18 points at halftime.

Follow the leader
The Pacers were led in scoring by Rodney Stuckey, who came off the bench and poured in 30 points before injuring his ankle in the fourth quarter. C.J. Miles added 17 points for the Pacers.

Luc Mbah a Moute led the Sixers in scoring with 16 points. He also pulled down 10 rebounds.

Nerlens Noel had 12 points and nine rebounds. Noel also blocked five shots in the first quarter before finishing with nine for the game. The big man added four steals, as well.

Stat-egic
Jason Richardson went 763 days between playing NBA games. The 34-year-old made his 828th start on Friday and played more than head coach Brett Brown's estimated 16 minutes in his return to action.

Richardson scored seven points, grabbed seven rebounds and dished out two assists in 18 minutes.

Take a bow
JaVale McGee was getting his medical clearance before the game, and it was unclear at the time if he would be active. The Sixers acquired McGee in a trade with Denver on Thursday.

The center came off Brown's bench and played 11 minutes. He wowed the crowd with his one basket — an impressive one-handed slam (see video).

McGee had appeared in only 17 games with the Nuggets this season because of injury and illness.

What's next?
The Sixers travel to Orlando to play the Magic Sunday evening in the first of a three-game road trip.

It is the third and final meeting between the two teams this season. Orlando beat the Sixers at the Wells Fargo Center on Nov. 5, 91-89. Tobias Harris hit a game–winning jumper with 0.1 left on the clock.

The Sixers got the better of the Magic on Dec. 21 with a 96-88 win. Noel had a double-double with 13 points and 12 rebounds. Carter-Williams led the Sixers with 21 points that night.
