BOX SCORE

The Sixers won consecutive home games for the first time since the beginning of last season with Friday's 103-94 victory over the Minnesota Timberwolves.

The Sixers shot 50.0 percent from the floor and 34.8 percent from three-point range en route to earning their 10 win of the season.

Turning point
The Sixers led by one point after three quarters, 78-77. In the fourth, they forced Minnesota into nine turnovers and built a lead as large as 10 points.

Follow the leader
Nerlens Noel and Michael Carter-Williams were sensational.

Carter-Williams had eight assists at halftime before finishing with 10 assists on the night. He also had 17 points and 10 rebounds for his fifth career triple-double.

Noel scored in double figures for the first time in four games. He had 14 points to go with six rebounds, three assists, four steals and six blocks. He is the first rookie in team history to have four steals and six blocks in a game, according to the Elias Sports Bureau.

Nikola Pekovic did not play when the Sixers beat the Timberwolves back on Dec. 3. He has missed 31 games this season with wrist and ankle injuries.

However, Pekovic was active on this night. He scored nine of Minnesota's first 20 points before finishing with 18.

No. 1 overall pick Andrew Wiggins had six points through three quarters and then scored nine in the fourth to finish with 15.

Kevin Martin led Minnesota with 19 points off the bench.

Stat-egic
The Sixers topped the century mark for the first time in 24 games. The franchise record for consecutive games scoring less than 100 points was 25 games.

Take a bow
Luc Mbah a Moute played well against his former team with 16 points. He was 5 of 10 from the field, and 5 for 6 at the foul line.

Rookie K.J. McDaniels played 23 minutes. He was 4 for 4 for 11 points. He made all three of his free throw attempts.

Welcome back
With 2:22 to play in the first quarter, Minnesota took a timeout and the Sixers played a video tribute to Thaddeus Young. Now in his eighth NBA, Young was making his first trip back to the Wells Fargo Center since being traded to the Timberwolves last summer.

Young scored 10 points, grabbed seven rebounds and handed out four assists.

What's next?
When the Sixers play in Atlanta on Saturday, it will be the second time this week they face a team playing the second night of back-to-back home games. New Orleans hosted Dallas on Sunday and the Sixers on Monday. Atlanta rallied for a comeback win over Portland on Friday to extend its winning streak to 18 games and now await the Sixers.

All five players in the Hawks' starting lineup average double figures in scoring, ranging from 11.8 points to 17.2 points a game.

Former Sixer Kyle Korver continues to lead the NBA in three-point field goal percentage. If he maintains his 53.4 percentage over the course of the season, he will become just the fifth NBA player to shoot over 50.0 percent from long distance in a season.

Warriors head coach Steve Kerr did it twice. La Salle standout, Tim Legler, Detlef Schrempf, and former Sixer Jason Kapono are the other three players.
