BOX SCORE

The Sixers' streak of allowing opponents to reach 100 points was snapped at four with Friday night's 89-81 win over the Washington Wizards at the Wells Fargo Center.

The victory was the Sixers' 13th of the season and snapped a five-game skid. It was also the Sixers' first win since they traded Michael Carter-Williams.

The Sixers held the Wizards to 32.3 percent shooting from the field and 23.5 percent from three-point range.

Two days after committing 28 turnovers, Brett Brown's team had just 15 against the Wizards.

Turning point
The Sixers were up four points when Jason Richardson put the ball on the floor and drove to the basket. As he got close to the rim, he saw Nerlens Noel cutting down the middle of the lane. Richardson threw Noel the ball who leaped in the air for a two-handed slam.

The bucket put the Sixers up 81-75 with 2:29 left to give them enough breathing room to secure the win.

Follow the leader
John Wall is the Wizards' leading scorer and assist man. Wall paced the Wizards with 21 points and 11 assists, but he was 7 for 26 from the floor.

Otto Porter added 19 points and Ramon Sessions led the Wizards' bench with 14 points.

Noel had 14 points and 13 rebounds for his eighth double-double this season.

Robert Covington scored 13 points. Jason Richardson had 12 points with all four of his made field goals coming from behind the arc.

Stat-egic
For a fourth straight game, the Sixers converted double figure three-pointers (12 for 33). They have accomplished that feat in eight of their last 11 contests.

That follows an 11-game stretch in which they failed to make at least 10 threes.

Take a bow
Thomas Robinson looks like a keeper.

He had nine points and nine boards in 13 minutes in his second game with the Sixers.

What's next?
The Sixers play in Indiana at 6 p.m. on Sunday. The Pacers are 7-3 in their last 10 games after Friday's 93-86 win over the Cleveland Cavaliers.

Pacers star Paul George continues to be sidelined after suffering a gruesome leg injury while playing in a Team USA scrimmage last summer. There is hope he will play at some point this season but it won't be Sunday night.

The Sixers and Pacers split the first two games of the season series with each team winning at home.

David West leads the Pacers in scoring and rebounding with 12.7 and 7.2, respectively.
