The Sixers were handed an ugly 119-90 loss by the Washington Wizards on Wednesday night at the Wells Fargo Center.

The loss pushed the Sixers' skid to seven games, their longest since they started the season 0-17.

The Sixers allowed the Wizards to shoot a franchise-record 65.3 percent from the field in the defeat.

Nerlens Noel sprained his right ankle in the fourth quarter and did not return. Noel scored five points and grabbed eight rebounds.

John Wall and Nene did not suit up for the Wizards, who opted to rest those two key starters for the upcoming postseason.

Turning point
This game was over in the first 4:35. The Wizards jumped on the Sixers 16-6.

The slow start defensively for the Sixers led head coach Brett Brown to substitute for all five starters with 7:25 to go in the first quarter.

At the end of the quarter, the Wizards were in front 35-24. Washington shot 77.8 percent from the field.

Follow the leader
Bradley Beal led the Wizards with 21 points. He was 7 of 9 from the floor. Marcin Gortat shot 8 for 9 and finished with 18 points to go along with seven rebounds and six assists.

Robert Covington led all scorers with 27 points. He was 8 for 11 with four three-pointers.

Jason Richardson scored 17 points. It was his first double-digit scoring game since March 18 when he had 14 points against Detroit.

In four games against the Sixers this season, Marcin Gortat shot a combined 31 of 39 from the field (79.4 percent). He averaged 17.2 points and 10.7 rebounds in the season series.

Thomas Robinson had a double-double with 11 points and 12 rebounds. It was his third double-double this season.

What's next?
The Sixers play their final road game of the season on Saturday in Chicago.

The Bulls have beaten the Sixers twice this season, with both wins coming at the Wells Fargo Center.

Derrick Rose did not play in either contest, but he returned to the Bulls' lineup Wednesday night in a 105-103 loss to Orlando. He played 19 minutes and finished with nine points. Rose missed the previous 20 games following knee surgery.
