Robert Covington reinjures knee during Tuesday's practice

Robert Covington’s return to the Sixers lineup may been short-lived.

Following Tuesday’s practice, Sixers head coach Brett Brown revealed that the sharpshooter reinjured the same right knee that held him out of the first two games of the season and that his status for Wednesday’s game at Milwaukee is uncertain.

“Covington went down today and we’re not sure what’s going to be his status,” Brown said. “We’ll determine that tomorrow.”

The 24-year-old forward originally sprained the knee during the preseason.

Monday's 107-100 loss to visiting Cleveland was Covington's season debut. He went 1-for-9 from the field for four points in 22 minutes of action.

The Sixers have been eager to get Covington back on the floor help with spacing.
