Nerlens Noel will not play tonight against the Raptors because of injured wrists (see game notes).
It's the second straight game Noel will miss because of the injury.
Noel participated in scripted drills at practice Tuesday but did not take part in contact drills or scrimmages. He said Tuesday that the injury wasn't "too bad" and that he was still "day to day."
The team maintains the injury occurred Friday against Cleveland even though Noel played the following night at home against Orlando when he was ejected after taking a swing at former Sixers forward Jason Smith.
“I wanted to give it another shot,” Noel said about playing against Orlando. "I was frustrated a little bit and wanted to give it a day’s rest."
In six games this season, Noel is averaging 12.2 points, 9.8 rebounds, 1.8 blocks and 1.6 steals per game.
