No players remain from the Sixers' roster that existed prior to the hiring of Sam Hinkie as team president and general manager in May 2013.

The team's front office is not immune to change either. The most recent management departure is Director of Player Personnel, Courtney Witte.

According to a source with knowledge of the situation, Witte was informed by Hinkie that he would not be given a new contract when his deal expired almost two months ago on July 1.

Witte remained with the organization through the duration of his contract. He has recently been hired by the Los Angeles Clippers, according to another source.

That same person said the Sixers' search for Witte's replacement has been "ongoing for some time."

Witte had been the Director of Player Personnel for the Sixers since September 2003. During his tenure holding that position, the Sixers' draft selections included Andre Iguodala, Louis Williams, Thaddeus Young, Jrue Holiday, Evan Turner and Nikola Vucevic.
