The Sixers are in for a long home stretch of the season.
That became even more evident with Monday night’s 130-110 loss to the Milwaukee Bucks at the Wells Fargo Center. The loss was the Sixers’ 11 in a row and dropped their record to 15-42.
Turning point
The Sixers proved competitive for the first 12 minutes, trailing 30-28 at the end of one quarter.
They followed that up by being outscored 43-16 in the second quarter. It was the eighth time this season the Sixers have allowed 40 or more points in a single quarter.
Follow the leader
O.J. Mayo came off the Bucks’ bench to lead Milwaukee in scoring with 25 points. Ersan Ilyasova added 20.
In all, the Bucks had seven players score in double digits.
NBA
Thaddeus Young had 25 points, a career-high seven assists and six steals. He is the first player to have consecutive games with those numbers since Ron Harper did it in 1994.
Michael Carter-Williams had 20 points, three assists and five turnovers.
Stat-egic
The Bucks came into Monday averaging the second-fewest points in the NBA with 92.6.
The Sixers gave up 73 points to the Bucks in the first half while allowing Milwaukee to score a season-high 130 points in the game. The Bucks shot 57.1 percent from the floor and 60.0 percent from behind the arc.

The Milwaukee bench outscored the Sixers’ reserves, 72-24.
Granger update
Danny Granger was not at the Wells Fargo Center on Monday night and appears closer to a buyout from the Sixers (see story).
What’s next?
The Sixers will take their 11-game losing streak into Wednesday night’s home game against the Orlando Magic. The Magic have 17 wins on the season, just ahead of the Sixers and Bucks.
The Magic are led in scoring by Aaron Afflalo, who averages 19.7 points. Afflalo’s status for Wednesday is uncertain after he did not make the trip with the Magic to Washington DC for a Tuesday matchup with the Wizards.
