BOX SCORE

The Los Angeles Lakers came to the Wells Fargo Center pretty banged up to say the least.

They were without the services of Kobe Bryant, Pau Gasol, Nick Young, Jodie Meeks and Jordan Farmar. All five guys are sidelined with various injuries.

The Sixers, meanwhile, had their usual array of players available and still weren’t able to end their recent struggles.

The Sixers allowed an early lead to slip away in a 112-98 loss to the Lakers Friday night. The defeat was their fifth in a row to drop their record to 15-36.

Turning point
Los Angeles led 91-90 with 10:04 to play in the game. The Lakers proceeded to go on a 10-0 run to put them up by 11 with 5:25 to play.

On the other side, the Sixers went 0 for 8 from the floor during that stretch and committed two of their 23 turnovers.

Follow the leader
The Lakers had six players finish with double-figure points. Steve Nash had a season-high 19 points to go with five assists.

Wesley Johnson and Chris Kaman each chipped in with 17 points.

Spencer Hawes had a double-double with 15 points and 11 rebounds. Evan Turner also added 15 points, while Tony Wroten led the team with 16 off the bench.

Stat-egic
The Sixers hit a franchise-record 15 three-pointers. James Anderson, Elliot Williams, Hawes and Turner made three shots from long range apiece.

Overall, the Sixers were 15 of 32 from three-point range.

Take a bow
Wroten did it again. Just as he did Wednesday against Boston, Wroten had the ball in his hands as time was winding down in the third quarter. He let it fly from 62 feet and banked it in.

On Wednesday, Wroten made a shot from 58 feet as the third-quarter horn sounded.

Wroten finished with 16 points on 6 of 9 shooting.

What’s next?
The Sixers get Los Angeles’ other team in its next game when they travel to face the Clippers Sunday night.

The Clippers are 34-18 behind the strong play of all-stars Blake Griffin and Chris Paul.

Paul is expected to be back in the Clippers’ lineup for that game. The point guard has been sidelined with a shoulder injury since Jan. 3.

The Sixers suffered a 94-83 loss to the Clippers at the Wells Fargo Center on Dec. 9.
