INDIANAPOLIS -- Pacers coach Frank Vogel says he's hoping to get all four of his injured players back during a four-game road trip that begins Wednesday night in Houston.

Indiana played Monday night without swingmen Danny Granger and Lance Stephenson, point guard George Hill and power forward David West.

Vogel says Stephenson (strained right hip flexor) probably will play Wednesday night and that West could play. West has missed the past five games with a sprained lower back but did some post-practice work Tuesday.

Granger, who has missed most of the season with patellar tendinitis in his left knee, and Hill (strained left groin) are more likely to miss at least one more game.

Sacramento officials considering new arena
SACRAMENTO, Calif. -- Sacramento city officials are set to consider a financing deal for a new arena for the NBA Kings, as the city tries to keep the team from moving to Seattle.

The package expected to go before the City Council on Tuesday night would use parking fees to help pay for the cost of the new $447 million arena.

The arena would be built on the site of the Downtown Plaza, an aging shopping mall.

Sacramento officials say the financing deal minimizes the risk to the city.

Opponents argue that Sacramento should not be subsidizing the wealthy investors that hope to buy the team and keep it in Sacramento.

Those investors include billionaire Ron Burkle and 24 Hour Fitness founder Mark Mastrov (see full story).
