SALT LAKE CITY -- Gordon Hayward scored a career-high 37 points, including Utah's final 17 points, to overcome Kevin Durant's 48 points and lead the Jazz to a 112-101 win over Oklahoma City on Tuesday night.

After the Thunder sliced a 24-point Jazz lead to 99-94, Hayward made five straight jumpers -- two of them 3-pointers -- in his personal 17-0 run to clinch Utah's fourth straight home win.

The Utah forward made 13 of 16 field goals and added 11 rebounds and seven assists to offset Durant, who matched this season's NBA high scoring total that he set against the Timberwolves on Saturday.

Without Russell Westbrook and Serge Ibaka, Durant took the ball nearly every possession in the fourth quarter. He missed all four final-period field-goal attempts but made 11 of 13 from the line in the final 12 minutes (see full recap).

Knicks hold off Pistons
NEW YORK -- Carmelo Anthony scored 13 of his 34 points in the pivotal third quarter, then made the clinching free throws with 2.9 seconds left as the New York Knicks handed the Detroit Pistons a season-high fifth straight loss with an 89-85 victory on Tuesday night.

Raymond Felton finished with 12 points and six assists in his return from injury for the Knicks, who came home from a 2-1 Texas swing and held on after blowing most of the 17-point lead they built while outscoring the Pistons 32-17 in the third quarter.

Andrea Bargnani had 13 points and 11 rebounds, helping the Knicks overcome the absence of an ill Tyson Chandler to beat the Pistons at Madison Square Garden for the eighth straight time.

Josh Smith had 21 points and 12 rebounds for Detroit, while Andre Drummond finished with 12 points and 17 boards (see full recap).

Spurs edge Grizzlies in OT
MEMPHIS, Tenn. -- Tim Duncan scored 24 points, Marco Belinelli added 19 points and Kawhi Leonard had 17 to carry the San Antonio Spurs past the Memphis Grizzlies 110-108 in overtime Tuesday night.

Mike Conley had 30 points for the Grizzlies, scoring 21 in the second half.

Memphis used a 23-7 run in the final 5 minutes and tie the game at 98. Conley hit a runner at the end of regulation to send the game into overtime 3 seconds after Manu Ginobili put the Spurs ahead with a layup. Ginobili scored the game-winning layup with 1.8 seconds to go in overtime.

Conley had an opportunity to win the game in overtime but his 25-foot 3-point attempt was short.

The Spurs won their fourth straight road game and their seventh straight against the Grizzlies. San Antonio was playing its first game without center Tiago Splitter, who sprained his right shoulder in Saturday's win over the Clippers and is out for three to five weeks (see full recap).
