In preparation of June 26's NBA draft, the Sixers will work out former Duke guard Andre Dawkins either on June 11 or 13, according to the Daily News.

Dawkins has already worked out with the Clippers and competed in the Portsmouth Invitational.

The 6-foot-5, 215-pounder has a strong outside stroke, shooting over 42 percent from three last season with the Blue Devils. He appeared in 33 games as a senior, averaging 7.9 points.

The Chesapeake, Virginia native's best season came in 2011-12 as a junior when he averaged 8.4 points in 34 games.

After his junior season, Dawkins stepped away from basketball for a year battling depression after the death of his sister in a 2009 car accident and was redshirted.

The Sixers hold seven picks in the draft -- Nos. 3 and 10 in the first round and Nos. 32, 39, 47, 52 and 52 in the second. Dawkins is projected as a second-round pick and could be a fit for the team with any one of its second-rounders.
