Saturday night’s ticket to the Sixers-Wizards game is a hot one.

According to SeatGeek (as of Thursday), the average ticket price for the game on the secondary market is $163, nearly double what it was prior to the team’s announcement they would retire Allen Iverson’s No. 3 that night.

In the last two weeks, the average ticket price for Saturday has jumped 38 percent, from $118 to $163.

That is the second-highest average ticket price for the Sixers in the past five seasons, behind only the Miami Heat game in January. That game drew an average ticket price of $170.

Seats that were going for $10 the first couple weeks of the season for March 1 are now said to be going for $110.

And clearly Iverson is the draw, because you can buy a ticket to any of the other 10 remaining home games for $32 or less.
