Sixers head coach Doug Collins has been fined 15,000 for verbal abuse of an official during the Sixers' 109-106 win over the Pacers on Saturday.

The fine was announced by Stu Jackson, the NBA Executive Vice President of Basketball Operations.

Toward the end of the overtime period on Saturday night, Collins was near mid-court to voice his displeasure with the officials.

Collins was upset after Evan Turner was seemingly fouled on an inbound play but a jump-ball was called instead. The Pacers won the tip, which kept the Pacers in the game. The Pacers won the tip but Danny Granger missed the three-pointer, which would have tied the game. That call came after Jrue Holiday was seemingly fouled with seven seconds left in regulation with a chance to take the lead but the officials let it go.

The Sixers have a chance to clinch a playoff spot with a win over the Nets on Monday night.
