But, as it turns out, "The Answer" himself, Allen Iverson, might just be in the house tonight when the Sixers face the Celtics in a win-or-die Game 6 of the Eastern Conference semifinals. The Sixers currently trail Boston in the series, 3-2.
The reports come to us by way of Crossing Broad. According to the site, Sixers CEO Adam Aron said on CBS this morning that Iverson had been invited to the game. A short time later, a senior editor at SLAM Magazine tweeted that A.I. will indeed be in the crowd at the Wells Fargo Center tonight.
Now, if only the fans get as loud as they did when Iverson suited up for the Sixers back in '09. Then, perhaps, the two teams can head back to Boston for Game 7 with the knowledge that Sixers fans aren't anything like Kevin Garnett suggested.
