Hornets: 11-26 (fifth place in Southwest Division, last place in West)

The Sixers four-game homestand continues Tuesday night with a meeting against the lowly New Orleans Hornets. Its an important game for the Sixers, who need to string together some wins after recently losing five straight. The Sixers are four games behind the Bucks for the final playoff spot in the Eastern Conference.

New Orleans is actually on a roll of late, despite being the worst team in the West. The Hornets won four in a row from Jan. 5-11, beating the Mavericks, Spurs, Rockets and Timberwolves. The streak was snapped Sunday in a 13-point loss at the Knicks.

The difference has been returning guard Eric Gordon, who has scored 16.2 points over the last five despite going 3-for-23 from beyond the arc.
