There's never been such hysteria about a Philadelphia 76ers practice before. Okay, maybe once. But today's practice at PCOM was a most eventful day because one Andrew Bynum was there... on the court... wearing practice gear... putting up shots!

Exciting news!

This is the first sighting of Bynum participating in basketball activities in months. Beat reporters Bob Cooney and Chris Vito were there to share what they saw. There were shots! And sweat!

Looks like a bead of sweat forming on Bynum's forehead. First bit of perspiration as a Sixer on the court.

Bynum's been canning shot after shot from about 12 feet. He looks like he's in great shape for a guy who hasn't done this in, like, forever.

Bynum looks good shooting. Touch seems to be there. Not a ton of "jump" in the jump hooks

But maybe don't get tooooooo excited. (Yeah right!)

Just an idea of how non physical Bynum's drills are - his cell phone appears to be tucked in his sock

Andrew Bynum just met with media after roughly 10 minute on-court session.Said hoping to be back 'around' All-Star Game break.
