OH HI THERE: Sixers Take on Sensationally Mediocre Lakers at Home

This should've been the big game of the Sixers season—a Sunday night
showdown between two of the league's elite (or at least pretty good)
teams, marking Andrew Bynum's first game against his old squad since
being traded. But Bynum's still out, the Lakers have yet to get their
shit together (and are still missing two of their four non-crap players
to injury), and instead, it's a drama-less meeting between two mediocre
squads, a near-afterthought on tonight's NBA schedule.

At least
there's still the whole Kobe-Coming-Home thing. Offensively, Kobe is
having his best season in ages, averaging a league-high 29 points a game
with great shooting numbers, all of course at the ripe old age of 34,
though he's also leading the league in turnovers, and his defense could
most charitably be described as "unmotivated." The Lakers are only 10-14
on the season, and will be looking to continue to Turn It Around
against Bryant's hometown squad after winning in Washington on Friday.

6:00
tip from the Wells Fargo Center. Still no Jrue Holiday for the Sixers,
though Andrew Bynum says his left knee is feeling "much better." So
there's that. Go Kwame!
