There you have it. Ever.

After word broke yesterday of a major joint announcement between the Josh Harris owned Sixers and New Jersey Devils, every conspiracy theorist on Twitter wondered if the Sixers might be relocating.

That was never going to happen. But new Sixers and Devils CEO Scott O'Neil set all of that straight today just to make everyone feel better.

From Delaware Online:

“We aren’t going anywhere. This team won’t leave Philadelphia, ever,” Sixers and Devils CEO Scott O’Neil told The News Journal on Wednesday. “We love the Wells Fargo arena. We appreciate our partners in Comcast Spectacor. And, we think Philly is the best sports city in the world. Real passion. Real fans. Real support.”

So what was that huge announcement all about then? The two teams have developed a unique partnership with online poker site PartyPoker. It's apparently the first deal of its kind.

Allen Iverson was there in North Jersey today for the announcement!

Free commercial idea: Allen Iverson gets booted from Atlantic City casino only to go home and play online poker instead!
