Sixers Continue Playing Out the String in Toronto

Share

The Sixers won the most meaningless game of their season last night in
New Jersey—we moved in front of the Knicks for the 7th seed and are now
that much more likely to face the second-seeded Heat in the first round,
whoopee—but I guess winning is generally more fun than losing, and it
was nice to see the boys playing un-sucky basketball for the first time
in a week or so, so word. They get the chance to start their first
winning streak in a month—yes, a month—tonight in Toronto, in a game
that threatens to be even less meaningful than the Jersey stomping. All
are not rising at the Wells Fargo Center, to say the least.

7:00 tip from the Air Canada Centre. Does it matter? Not really. But
it's not like the Flyers have a playoff game tonight or that the
Phillies season has started or anything. What else are you going to do
tonight but watch Jrue Holiday and Thaddeus Young getting it done,
south-of-the-border style?
