The attendance numbers and support shown to the Sixers this year were both improved tremendously over last year, but down the stretch of the regular season it waned a bit with the team struggling mightily at home. As Doug Collins pointed out today, there were plenty of empty seats on fan appreciation night a few weeks ago. That's not what he and his team are hoping for tonight.
Doug wants the atmosphere among the South Philadelphia faithful to be raucous this evening and after their impressive performance in Game 2, they've given you quite a bit of hope.
