Tonight: the Sixers Play the Wizards in Exciting Preseason Action

There's a professional basketball exhibition in South Philadelphia this evening between your 76ers and the Washington Wizards. It's, remarkably, the final tune up in the incredibly brief preseason before the shortened 2011-12 season kicks off next week.

The talk from Coach Collins before the game is to get everyone involved tonight, to make sure that nobody over exerts themselves, to empty the bench and keep everyone fresh.

The talk from outside the team is about how the city will respond to the new ownership's media push. Will the new lighting setup, the new mascot, and the renewed effort from the team's brass translate into a renewed interest in the team from the fans?

Tonight's starting lineup: Iguodala, Brand, Hawes, Meeks, and Jrue.

7:00 tip off tonight. You can watch the action on Comcast SportsNet. How many fans do you think show up tonight? I guessed 7,000 while the guy sitting next to me guessed 10,000. Regardless, it's your first chance to Show Ya Luv in person tonight.
