The list of partners in new Sixers' ownership group isn't exactly an eclectic one: financial adviser, investor, buyout firm guy, Indonesian investors, real estate investor, etc.
But there is one name from hit televesion series such as The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air that sticks out: Will Smith and his wife Jada Pinkett Smith.
That's the word according to the Inquirer's Joe DiStefano.

Also made public about the team at today's press conference at the Palestra was their new motto: Passionate. Intense. Proud. Generic.
Okay, that last word wasn't really part of it. As the AP's Dan Gelston writes, "Passionate. Intense. Proud. Looks like the sixers are leaving it up to the players again to create a catchphrase." Show ya luv for the new Sixers!
