It'd be nice if we could all live until we were 100. Unfortunately, things like fast food and Netflix trump exercise 99 times out of 100.
However, a young-at-heart Flyers fan has eclipsed that number and then some. Last Wednesday, Helen Moser celebrated her 104th birthday, and it was probably one of the best yet for the die-hard Flyers fan.
While celebrating the occasion at a retirement home in Upper Moreland, Pa. (which, of course, was completely Flyers-themed), ex-Flyer Bob Kelly, who was on both the 1974 and '75 Stanley Cup-winning squads, made a surprise appearance. Upon arriving, he presented Moser with a custom Flyers jersey, a cake, and a gesture that drove Moser near tears. Kelly took Moser's hand and slid one of his Stanley Cup rings on her finger.
