Hunter Pence killed the Phillies last night. That's fine. Just as long as he saved the Phanatic.

Pence hit a bloop to shallow right off Jonathan Papelbon to break a scoreless tie in the ninth inning and help the Giants on to victory. He's becoming something of a Phillies killer when he plays at Citizens Bank Park.

But the Phillies have appeared dead for weeks. The Phanatic on the other hand. Can't let him die.

Pence and the Phanatic went at it a bit during warmups and even later in the game. After Pablo Sandoval lost his footing and fell while attempting to make a catch, the Phanatic mocked him and played dead. That's when Hunter came to the rescue and resucsitated the big green guy using CPR. Still a good guy, that Pence.
