The tributes and the remembrances continue to roll in as the Flyers community mourns the passing of Ed Snider.

If you were watching Comcast SportsNet's coverage this morning, you likely caught the funny moment when former Flyer Jeremy Roenick called in and talked about the time he hugged Mr. Sinder at his introductory press conference.

Longtime Flyers beat writer Tim Pannacio set up the story by pointing out that nobody hugged Mr. Snider. Nobody.

"Get the beep button ready because I didn't give a $h!t," Roenick said.

"When you get paid a lot of money from somebody, from a team that puts a lot of emphasis and trust in you, you have to be gracious and be loyal," Roenick said. "And Ed Snider was that for me. As a human being, I don't know how you can't reach out and grab somebody and give them a hug for instilling that kind of trust in you. Mr. Snider did that for me. I don't care if he doesn't like to be touched or if he doesn't liked to be hugged or anything like that."

"I wish I'd given him more hugs," Roenick said.
