The Phillies lost to the Marlins on Tuesday night down in Miami. No real surprise there. I think that's five losses in a row for Ryne Sandberg's bunch. Who's paying attention at this point.

But in watching highlights from the game I did stumble upon a gem of an Internet video that was given the rather boring title of "Marlins show pride for U.S. team."

But there's so much more to it than that.

First up is the guy creeping right off the bat. Amazing. Then there's the Marlin playing soccer in the outfield who totally eats it. Then there's the stars and stripes tank top tucked into baseball pants. And to top it all off the Phillies bullpen are messing with the friendly reporter doing her best from the outfield seats. That's a damn good filler segment.

As for the game on the field, Jim Salisbury has a full recap here. Or if you'd like a quick synopsis: sell, sell, sell.

Nola Impressive in Second Appearance

And in one bit of tiny good news, recent top pick Aaron Nola looked great down in Florida for the Threshers. From the team's website:

In his second professional appearance, Nola worked four near-perfect innings, allowing just a one-out single to Andy Fermin in the second inning.

The Phillies' first-round pick struck out three batters without issuing a walk, and finished having thrown 48 pitches - 37 for strikes. He threw just 13 pitches or less in all four frames.
