The guys on the Phillies' 25-man roster weren't the only players to get shown very little interest at yesterday's trade deadline.
Former Phils ace and Cy Young Award winner Roy Halladay had some fun at the deadline and tweeted that his wife was attempting to trade him but she found very little interest.
My wife was on the phone all day yesterday. When she hung up I ask what was going on. Said she was try'n to trade me, very little interest.— Roy Halladay (@RoyHalladay) August 1, 2014
The only deal she had the other lady wouldn't include her lawn service! My wife tried to include the dog in the trade but still no go— Roy Halladay (@RoyHalladay) August 1, 2014
Ruben Amaro probably wonders why wives aren't aggressive enough this time of year.
