Ryan White feels Flyers fans' pain, says he'd be throwing stuff too

Who'd have thought the best and worst moments of Monday night's hockey game would have been thanks to a cheap piece of plastic meant to be put on your wrist and shine a light.

Okay, that's not entirely true. The pregame light show was awesome but the Flyers scoring in the first minute of play was even better.

After that though? All downhill.

And after Flyers fans were forced to watch their powerplay look like garbage all night, they decided to fill the ice with some of their own.

It was ugly. A handful of stupid fans at the Wells Fargo Center helped perpetuate the nasty reputation that many Philly fans have been trying to fight off for eternity. Obviously that is never going to happen, but still.

There's no excuse for the poor showing the fans who threw glow bracelets onto the ice. It was an ugly display anyway you shake it. Poor Lou Nolan had to scold them all, multiple times.

I think it's safe to say the majority of fans in Philadelphia think the actions of a few were awful and inexcusable.

Not Flyers' mucker Ryan White though. He'd have joined in!

"Whatever I love the Philly fans. I'd be doing it too," White said after the loss.

More on the ugly situation from last night's game here.
