Charles Barkley was a guest on Philly Sports Talk on Monday evening and, not surprisingly, the conversation was all over the place. Chuck didn't disappoint.
Perhaps my favorite line from the hour-long segment was when Chuck thought the Sixers would be foolish to deal Michael Carter-Williams.
"He can work on his shot," Barkley said. "People said the same thing three years ago about Kawahi Leonard. He couldn't shoot. Now he's a terrific shooter. Michael Carter-Williams is Michael Jackson playing with a bunch of Tito Jacksons. You got to give him a chance, get him some help. I like Thaddeus Young... [long pause] Uh, and the rest of those guys, obviously..."
"They got to figure out what to do with Thaddeus Young."
He goes on to talk some Kevin Love pipedreams, which I don't really see happening. But any time you can compare Tony Wroten to Tito Jackson, I'd call it a good days work.
