TMZ Sports had a camera crew in California to catch Joel Embiid on the streets of Beverly Hills.
Some observations:
-Embiid enjoys Chinese food.
-Embiid "WALKED AROUND in Bev Hills last night ... to show he's still healthy enough for expensive Chinese food." I'm not sure he was walking around to *show* he was healthy, exactly. I'd guess he was walking around to show he was HUNGRY.
-Embiid was chilling with John Wall, which is neat. The Wizards' star even attempted to step in and protect Jojo from the paps. Nice guy, that Wall. Who knew he'd be good at defending a big like Embiid.
-Embiid was rocking some curious orange kicks.
-There is no boot of any kind on his foot. Should that encourage Sixers fans since reports of him re-breaking his navicular bone surfaced? For the record, Sixers CEO Scott O'Neil has maintained the company line that his foot never entirely healed.
