Watch: Eagles players discuss ‘stupid' Cowboys banner flying over Linc

Add an airplane to the list of things Philadelphia Eagles fans have booed.

The long-rumored plane carrying a message about the Dallas Cowboys still being 'dem boyz flew over the Eagles practice at Lincoln Financial Field on Sunday. New Cowboy Greg Hardy apparently threw in some cash to help the Dallas fan-funded plane get off the ground.

Eagles players were asked about the plane and wrote it off as pretty dumb.

Bennie Logan said Hardy was new to the Philly-Dallas rivalry and that it takes time to understand it fully.

"We really didn't pay no attention," Logan said. "When we play them we will definitely be looking forward to it.  We will definitely let them know how we feel about the little stupid sign they flew over our stadium."

"DeMeco Ryans said it best, 'They got their minds on us. Right now we're worried about getting better on the football field,'" Emmanuel Acho added.

Lane Johnson called the stunt a waste of money and added that Hardy was a hot-head.

All pretty accurate.

There were rumors swirling on Sunday that a plane that crashed was supposed to be flying an Eagles banner over Dallas' camp but those proved to be false. The planned Eagles banner couldn't take flight because of the airport being shutdown after an unrelated crash.
