Watch: Old former athlete says ridiculous thing

Terrell Owens would like to rejoin the Dallas Cowboys.

Wait a second, you're probably thinking to yourself right now, "When in the world was the last time T.O. actually played in the NFL?"

That would be 2010 when he suited up for 14 games for the Cincinatti Bengals. Prior to that he played a season for the Buffalo Bills and of course his three year stint with the Dallas Cowboys.

So why on earth would Owens think now is a good time to come back? Or, perhaps the better question should be, why on earth would a team want a 41-year-old player who hasn't suited up in half a decade? Clearly the loss of Dez Bryant shook something around in T.O.'s head.

Owens was a guest on the Rich Eisen Show yesterday to attempt to answer that question.

"They don't really feel 2-0 going into this Sunday against the Atlanta Falcons," Owens said of the Cowboys.

"If there was an opportunity for me to go back, I wouldn't want to ruffle those feathers. I've become wiser as I've gotten older."

"As far as me being on the football field, I think everybody knows what they would get."

Except, they don't, Terrell.

You can watch the exchange below and judge for yourself.
