The Philadelphia Union took on Crystal Palace FC of the English Premier League in a friendly down in Chester on Friday night. The Union dropped the contest on an own goal off the head of defender Ethan White that was about as bad as you'll see.

It would be the only goal of the match.

But as bad as that one mistake was, the Union did have at least one reason for optimism: goalie Andre Blake. The current backup to Zac MacMath showed flashes of why the Union selected him No. 1 overall in the draft, making a gaggle of impressive saves. Blake's performance could help the movement to trade MacMath grow.

You can see both the own goal and a number of the saves in the below highlight video from Crystal Palace worth watching for the accent alone. Sebastien Le-twah.
