You may remember Ezequiel Carrera from the halcyon days in the summer of 2013 down at Citizens Bank Park where the Venezuelan outfielder appeared in 13 games for the Phillies. You may even remember the lone hit Zeke notched in his 16 plate appearances. But in all reality, you probably don't.
Regardless, it's always nice to see former Phillies showing up in highlight reels and Carrera deserves the attention for the absolutely stunning over-the-shoulder grab he made against the Yankees on Monday night. He signed with Detroit as a free agent this offseason and got the call up last week when the Tigers moved Austin Jackson.
Check out this leather. And some pretty good air taboot.
