NFL Playoffs: Giants roll, more Tebow magic

The NFC East champion Giants have a date with the defending Super Bowl champion Packers after routing the Falcons, 24-2, in the NFC wild-card game on Sunday at the Meadowlands.

Eli Manning threw for 277 yards (23 for 32) and three touchdowns. Two of those TDs went to Hakeem Nicks, who caught six balls for 115 yards (see full recap).

Philadelphia native and Atlanta QB Matt Ryan was 24 for 41 for 199 yards and a no TDs. Ryan is now 0-3 in NFL playoff games. Atlanta's last playoff victory came in 2005 over the Rams, with Michael Vick at quarterback.

The Giants lost to the Packers in Decemer, 38-25.

Tim Tebow hit Demaryius Thomas in stride for a jaw-dropping, 80-yard touchdown on the first play of overtime to give the Broncos a 29-23 victory over the Steelers in the AFC wild-card game on Sunday.

Pittsburgh outscored Denver, 10-3, in the fourth quarter to push the game into OT. But behind Tebow's 316 yards passing (10 for 21), the Broncos now have a date with the New England Patriots next Saturday (see full recap).

Ben Roethlisberger led the Steelers back from a two-touchdown halftime deficit. He went 22 for 30 for 289 yards, one TD and one INT.
