Babin accuses Bears of running dirty play

Jason Babin has been on the wrong side of the NFLs disciplinary action.

But now, hes calling for some action to come against the Bears.

On Thursday, Babin said that the Bears ran a cheap play that could have hurt him. Babin claims that in the second quarter of the game, the Bears brought a tight end in motion, who hit him in his side. Babin thinks he was a defenseless player.

I got the s--- knocked out of me, Babin said. I knew somebody hit me from the side and I didnt know where it came from or who it was. To me its one of those plays, where somebody could get really hurt, especially if youre running full speed and not looking.
Babin also said that it was an intentionally called play.

If everything is about safety and protecting players, then that should definitely fall under the safety rules and regulations, he said. I saw it on tape and I was like wow, they did that.

Babin said that the Eagles have talked to the league about the play but as far as he knows, no action has been taken.

The Eagles defensive lineman also said that its sometimes unfair that defensive players are the ones who always get disciplined.

Its one of those things where we dont get any protection, He said. We just get in trouble for it.

The Eagles didnt have a single sack against the Bears on Monday, which has frustrated Babin and the rest of the Eagles' defensive line for the past few days. The Bears did some things to stop the line but Babin wouldnt use that as an excuse on Thursday.

Were still talking about it today, Babin said. Anytime we dont get to the quarterback, its frustrating to us. Thats the job that everybody really evaluates us for and when it doesnt get done, its our fault.
