Eagles players standing behind embattled Reid

You can call it a movement at this point.

There arent just a few Eagles fans calling for the job of Andy Reid. There are now a lot, and with the Eagles 3-6 record, it should come as no surprise.

Even when the Eagles were winning division titles, Reid wasnt a beloved coach in Philly. Maybe its his style; maybe its his playcalling; maybe its his sometimes smug attitude; whatever the reason, losing doesnt help the cause but a few of his players arent happy to see their coach on the hot seat.

The fact that his job should be in question after doing everything that hes done for this team, this organization, this city is troubling but we know thats the type of business were in, safety Kurt Coleman said. All of our jobs are on the line every week. The best thing we can do is go out there and play with our hearts.

Reid has posted a career 131-88-1 record (.598), has the most wins in team history and is the longest tenured head coach in the NFL.

Defensive end Brandon Graham said that the team isnt losing focus. He said that there isnt a feeling of dissension in the locker room because Reid wont let them lose focus. Graham doesnt want a new head coach either.

We dont want to see coach Reid leave, Graham said. Thats one thing I dont want to see. I love him as a coach and we just have to get it together and if its going to happen it has to happen right now.

If its his fault, were going to take it as players as we can play better and fight harder for coach so that his job could be secure because we dont want to see him lose and go out this way. We want to see him go out on top.
