Flyers: 6-4-1 (Second in Atlantic Division, Fifth in Eastern Conference)
Sabres: 6-4-0 (Third in Northeast Division, Eighth in Eastern Conference)

Previous games

The Flyers bounced back from a rough two-game losing streak with a 5-1 win over the Carolina Hurricanes Saturday night. Ilya Bryzgalov looked sharp, allowing only one goal after giving up a total of nine in his previous two games against the Canadiens and Jets.

Buffalo lost 3-2 against the Florida Panthers Saturday night. The Sabres have lost three of their last four games, including a home-and-home series with the Tampa Bay Lightning.

Who's hot?

In the four games since they joined forces, Claude Giroux's line with Jaromir Jagr and Scott Hartnell have combined for 11 goals and 12 assists.

Jason Pominville has collected a total of eight points in his last five games. After having just two three-point games during 2010-11, he has three so far this season.

Storylines

Plagued by injuries, most notably Chris Pronger, Danny Briere and rookie Matt Read, the Flyers look to improve on their 3-1-0 road record.

Former Flyer Ville Leino is still looking to find his stride after signing with Buffalo as a free agent this past summer. He has only one goal and one assist in ten games so far for the Sabres.
