The Flyers will host the New Jersey Devils Sunday afternoon at the Wells Fargo Center. A few days rest, since eliminating the Penguins earlier in the week, has afforded the Flyers a chance to get healthy for their second round match up with New Jersey.

Nicklas Grossman worked out with the team Saturday and James Van Remesdyke may be ready for more ice time since returning from injury during the Penguins series.

Late addition Kreider shines in Ranger win over Caps
Chris Kreider, added to the Rangers' roster during the Ottawa series, netted the 2-1 go-ahead goal seven minutes into the third period Saturday to help the Rangers to a 3-1 win over the Washington Capitals in Game 1. Kreider then found Brad Richards a few minutes later for the two goal advantage.

Kreider was added to the New York roster after Carl Hegelin was suspended after a hit on Daniel Alfredsson in Game 2 of the New York- Ottawa series.

Game 2 is Monday night in New York at 7 p.m. (see full recap)

Upstart Kings take Game 1 from St. Louis
The Kings once again proved to be formidable on the road in the Stanly Cup playoffs. After sweeping the President Cup Trophy winner Canucks in the first round of the playoffs, the Kings took Game 1 away from the home team St.Louis Blues, 3-1.

Former Flyer Mike Richards assisted Slava Voyna to tie the game 1-1 late in the first period. Dustin Brown assisted Matt Greene on a short handed goal in final minutes of the second period to give Los Angeles the lead.

Game 2 is scheduled for Monday night in St. Louis at 9 p.m. (see full recap)
