DALLAS -- The countdown for Jaromir Jagr continues.

His second-period goal Wednesday night against the Stars was the 657th of his career, giving him sole possession of 11th place all-time over Brendan Shanahan.

I passed Shanny, huh? Jagr asked. Whos next?

That would be Luc Robitaille at 668 goals.

Do I have a chance? Not with 10 minutes ice time, Jagr laughed. Of course, it means a lot. Its too bad I left for three years in Russia.

It'd probably be different numbers now. Maybe if I wouldnt have left Russia I wouldnt be playing now. I dont look at the numbers. Maybe after my hockey career, Ill look back and see what I accomplished. Right now, I want play every game like its my last.

For the record, Jagr played 14:06 against Dallas.
