BOX SCORE

ORLANDOWith 5:59 to play in the first quarter, the Magic had built a 17-6 lead. Ryan Anderson had eight of those points and he was not slowing down.

Doug Collins called a timeout to stop the bleeding, only when play resumed the Sixers committed a turnover. Anderson dropped his third three of the game and then after a Sixers missed field goal, Hedo Turkoglu came down and made Orlandos fourth three of the game.

A 17-point deficit seemed insurmountable given the Sixers poor shooting and Orlandos hot hand, especially from long range. The Sixers closed the gap to four midway through the third quarter, but that was the closest they got.

The Sixers fell 103-87, dropping their record to 20-10.

After playing the last 10 games with 11 turnovers or fewer, the Sixers totaled 14 giveaways. They are still No. 1 in the NBA, averaging the fewest turnovers at 10.4 a game.

Dwight Howard finished with a double-double of 17 points and 12 rebounds.

The Magic got a big boost from reserve J.J. Redick, who scored 12 points and Jameer Nelson found every open man, finishing with 14 assists.
Turning points
Andre Iguodala made two free throws with 1:59 to play in the second quarter to close the deficit to six points. However, a Turkoglu basket at the 1:23 mark started a 10-0 run for the Magic to end the first half.

The Sixers made a couple runs and threatened to steal the game, but that cushion made just before the half proved to be enough for Orlando to improve to 19-11.
