Andre Iguodala will miss his second straight game tonight when the Sixers host the Cavaliers at the Wells Fargo Center.
Iguodala is out with patellar tendinitis in his left knee, which forced him to miss Sundays loss in San Antonio. Jodie Meeks again will start for Iguodala.
Iguodala wants to make sure he's healthy for the playoffs. The Sixers (27-22) are tied with the Celtics for first place in the Atlantic.
I had the same feeling before like two weeks ago, and two weeks ago I played through it and it didn't quite work out for me, Iguodala said Monday. So I tried to tell myself that if it happens again you have to let someone know because we are coming down the stretch and we dont want this overlapping with late April or early May.
Against the Spurs the Sixers committed a season-high 21 turnovers and scored only 27 points in the second half.
The Sixers have won the last three meetings with the Cavs, the most recent a 99-84 win in Cleveland on Feb. 11. The Sixers havent beaten Cleveland four straight times since a stretch in 2004-05.
